Obsidian is volcanic glass, born of lava cooled so quickly it never formed crystals — a mirror of pure darkness with a deep, liquid shine. Long carved into mirrors and blades, it was believed to reflect the soul.
 
Emotional and spiritual virtues — Black obsidian is regarded as a stone of truth and protection, said to cut through illusion, shield against negativity and gently bring buried emotions to light.
 
The finish can be chosen: gold-plated or silver-plated brass.
