T&Cs – General Terms and Conditions of Sale

This website is owned and operated by Maison BE L.L.C-FZ (Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates), operating the brand Maison BE – Le Bien dans l'Être ("Maison BE", "we", "us"). These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern every purchase made on maisonbelifestyle.com. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by them.

Eligibility. To purchase from us you must be at least 18 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. You may not use this website where doing so is prohibited by any law applicable to you.

Products. Maison BE sells jewellery made with natural semi-precious stones and minerals. As each piece is made with natural stones, slight variations in colour, pattern and inclusions are inherent to the material and are not considered defects. Product photographs are illustrative and not contractual.

Orders and contract. You are responsible for reading the full product listing before purchasing. You enter into a legally binding contract when you complete the check-out payment process. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order.

Prices. Prices are displayed on the website in UAE Dirhams (AED). We reserve the right to change prices at any time and to correct any pricing error that may inadvertently occur.

Made-to-order pieces. Certain pieces, including the JUMBO line, are made to order. Once your order is accepted, please allow approximately 2 to 3 weeks for the creation of your piece before dispatch.

Delivery. We currently deliver within the United Arab Emirates only. Processing and delivery terms are set out in our Delivery Policy.

Returns. All sales are final, except for items arriving damaged or defective, as set out in our Return & Refund Policy.

Warranties. For a valid warranty claim (item damaged during transport), we will repair or replace the item; if neither is possible within a reasonable time, we will issue a gift card for its value. We cover delivery of the repaired or replaced item to you; you cover the return delivery to us.

Intellectual property. All content on this website — images, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, photographs, audio and video — is the exclusive property of Anne-Cécile Poizat. Maison BE and Le Bien dans l'Être are trademarks of Anne-Cécile Poizat (Le Bien dans l'Être registered with INPI, 2019). You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maison BE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or our products.

Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on this page, and your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively before a competent court in Dubai, UAE. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
