Aquamarine is a beryl, of the same family as emerald, of which it is the blue cousin. It forms in granite pegmatites and metamorphic rocks, under high temperature and pressure, often in remarkably clear and hexagonal crystals. Its crystals can reach exceptional sizes, with transparency and purity comparable to the finest cut stones. Each JUMBO piece is a fragment of solidified ocean, a blue clarity the earth has built in its depths as a memory of the sea.
Emotional and spiritual virtues — It is associated with clarity in communication, gentle courage and serenity in the face of what is beyond our control. It accompanies those who struggle to express what they truly feel — not from lack of awareness, but from fear of reaction or the habit of minimising. Its clear, fluid vibration invites words to come from a place of calm and truth. It helps navigate periods of uncertainty with serene confidence — not the certainty that all will be well, but the peace of knowing one can navigate whatever comes. Spiritually, aquamarine is deeply linked to water and its qualities of flow, purification and renewal.
Legend — The Romans believed aquamarine was sacred to Neptune, god of the sea, and that it had fallen from the jewel boxes of sirens onto the beaches. Sailors carried it as a talisman of protection for safe passage across the ocean. Its name comes from the Latin aqua marina — water of the sea — for the colour it holds within.
JUMBO orders require time for crafting, ranging from 2 to 3 weeks during the busiest periods. The photo is not contractual — each stone is unique, and its imperfections are the testimony of a natural stone.
