Labradorite is the stone of magic, transformation and auric protection — one of the most mysterious gems in existence. Worn at the throat, it invites magical speech: the kind that comes from the invisible, that knows what it says before it has been formed, that touches because it is true.
Emotional and spiritual virtues — Labradorite protects the emotional field from external influences and energies that do not belong to us. It is the stone of the highly sensitive, the empaths, of those who absorb too much; it strengthens inner boundaries without closing the heart, and helps distinguish what is one's own from what comes from elsewhere. Worn as a necklace, it creates an axis between the third eye and the throat — between vision and speech, between what one perceives and what one transmits. It is the stone of mediums, oracles, of women who speak from a place larger than themselves.
Legend — According to Inuit legend, labradorite holds the light of the northern lights, imprisoned in rock by an ancestral warrior; another struck the stone with his lance and the lights escaped into the sky, but some remained captive forever, forming the iridescent shimmer we know today. Officially discovered in 1770 on the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, it had already been used by Indigenous peoples for millennia as a stone of vision and protection.
Each necklace is unique, and any imperfection is a testimony to its authenticity. Non-contractual photo.
