Mica quartz is a natural marriage of quartz and shimmering mica, the two grown together so that fine reflective flecks are scattered through the crystal, making each bead a small, three-dimensional play of light. Each bead is subtly unique in its natural colour and patterning.
 
Emotional and spiritual virtues — It is associated with lightness, clarity and gentle uplift — said to scatter heaviness, brighten the spirit and support a sense of sparkle and ease. Its glimmering surface is felt as a luminous, quietly joyful presence.
 
Legend — Mica has been used since the earliest times, ground for ceremonial body paint and set into pottery to catch the light; its union with quartz was seen as joining earth's clarity with the sparkle of the stars.
 
Each necklace is made to order and requires 2 to 3 weeks of preparation during busier periods. The photo is not contractual — each necklace is unique and its imperfections are the mark of a natural stone. Sold alone, without a pendant — you may add pendants over time to compose your own talismans, according to your intuition.
