Nephrite jade is one of the most revered stones in human history. Its green colour, of a velvety depth, can range from a pale, translucent green to an almost opaque forest green, sometimes veined with white or grey. It is composed of actinolite and tremolite, two silicates that interweave to form a structure of remarkable strength and density. Each JUMBO piece radiates a serene, ancient presence, as though it carried the memory of the world within it.
Emotional and spiritual virtues — It is associated with the wisdom of the heart, harmony and abundance. It is said to accompany those who seek to cultivate inner peace, to balance their relationships and to move through life with more grace and serenity. Its gentle, steady vibration is said to foster confidence, generosity and the ability to welcome what life offers with gratitude. On a spiritual level, it is regarded as a stone of benevolent protection — not a protection that repels, but one that envelops and soothes, like the arms of a loving presence.
Legend — In China, nephrite jade is far more than a stone — it is a philosophy. For millennia it was considered the stone of heaven, symbol of the five cardinal virtues: wisdom, courage, justice, benevolence and purity. The Chinese emperors prized it above gold or diamonds. It was carved into the most sacred ritual objects, imperial adornments and funerary talismans meant to accompany souls into the afterlife. In New Zealand, the Māori carved it into hei-tiki, sacred pendants passed down from generation to generation as guardians of the lineage.
JUMBO orders take time to craft — from 2 to 3 weeks in the busiest periods. The photo is non-contractual: each stone is unique, and its imperfections are the testimony of a natural stone.
