Pyrite pendant.
Known as fool's gold for the metallic golden glow that has fascinated since Antiquity, pyrite draws its name from the Greek pyr — fire — for the sparks it releases when struck. It was long carried as a small captured sun kept close to the skin.
Emotional and spiritual virtues — Pyrite is regarded as a stone of protection and vitality, said to shield against negative energies and to strengthen confidence, willpower and the courage to act.
The finish can be chosen: gold-plated or silver-plated brass.
Each pendant is unique and may vary in shape, size and colour; any irregularity is a mark of its authenticity, not a flaw. Non-contractual photo.
