Rhodochrosite glows in warm rose-pink, banded with paler rings of cream and coral — soft and luminous. Each bead is subtly unique in its natural colour and patterning.
 
Emotional and spiritual virtues — It is the stone of the tender heart — associated with self-compassion and emotional warmth, said to soothe the feelings and bring a comforting, gentle glow. Its rosy bands are felt as a warm, embracing presence.
 
Legend — The Inca believed rhodochrosite was the blood of their former kings and queens turned to stone, giving it the name Rosa del Inca, the Inca rose.
