Selenite is translucent white gypsum with a silken, fibrous glow, named for Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon. Pure and luminous, it seems to hold moonlight in its very fibres.
 
Emotional and spiritual virtues — It is regarded as a stone of clarity and purification, said to clear heavy energies, bring mental lightness and restore a serene, luminous calm.
 
The finish can be chosen: gold-plated or silver-plated brass.
